Also the people that wave you on at the four-way when they clearly arrived first, like if you went already you wouldn't be wasting both of our time or those that speed up when there's a passing line and you know they're going to go back down to under the regular speed limit so You have to speed up another 20 mph to pass them. Those are probably more Seinfeld moments lol
This is annoyingly relatable because half the time it’s not even the big betrayals that get you, it’s the tiny, stupid little things that make you want to lose your mind. The older I get, the less patient I am with people acting like basic communication is some kind of optional luxury. Turns out “laid back” is often just code for “already tired of everyone’s nonsense.”

The backhanded compliments!! I once had a mother-in-law (I’ve had 3) tell me “I could never be so brave” when I died my hair. I felt smacked in the face at the time, but I think she was being completely honest. Dying hair to her did take bravery. (And it was likely a terrible color on me) 😜
